Random pics...

Gam-maw took Em on her 1st 4-wheeler ride. She loved it and I'm sure that it is going to be the 1st of many. She will probably want to ride it every time that she goes to their house!

Emery loves her Uncle Bud. She went to her 1st baseball game last night to cheer him on. He did great and by this summer she is going to love the ball field! Uncle Bud even helped her hunt Easter eggs on Sunday!

These first 2 pics are from Harding University. Mom and I spend a great day out on the Harding campus looking for flowers that we could take Emery's picture in. She enjoyed it and even picked herself a few flowers!

This is her Easter basket that Gam-maw and I made her. I can't say that she was overly impressed but next year will be fun.

Emery is getting so big. Where does the time go. In a couple of weeks she is going to be 6 months old and yes...I am having her a party! I know, the first child gets everything! Anyway, she is the joy of our lives and I look forward to each new day.

Sick baby!

Well, we have had an eventful week. Ryan went out of town last Thursday to a Youth Ministers Retreat and Emmie and I went to my parents for what was suppose to be just 3 days. We had her Easter pics taken on that Thursday (I will post them as soon as I get them) and on Friday we had to take her to the doctor! We thought that we were catching whatever she had early enough but that wasn't the case. She was a VERY sick little girl by Monday and we had to go back to the doctor! He did some chest x-rays and found that she had some infection in her lungs so we are now on meds for pneumonia. She is finally feeling better now and can actually sleep for an extended period of time. No one can prepare you for your baby being sick like that! All I can say is "thank goodness for my parents"...they were real troopers sitting up and holding her at night and during the day so I could get some sleep. Well, that is about all that is happening here but I will definitely post her pics when I get them!

Crazy weather!

The weather in Arkansas this year is NUTS!!! I have added a few pics of Emery and they are over a span of 3 days. We go from spring to winter in 3 days!


Here she is on Sunday in her pretty new dress Gam-maw got for her! Can you believe that it is 70 degrees?!



These 3 pics were taken today when we had about 2-3 inches of snow. I can't say that she was really impressed with it but we enjoyed showing it to her!
