Ain't I Cute!

My first Mother's Day! We had such a great weekend and I can't believe that I am a mom to such a wonderful baby girl! As you can see Emery Kate can't take her eyes off of Grandad to smile for the camera.

Turning 7 months old just tired this baby out! Naps are few and far between at our house so I thought I would capture this one on film! So sweet!

Emery is so not interested in crawling. She tries but she would much rather stand up. I think that we might bypass crawling and go straight for walking.

Look at that face...she is telling daddy to get the camera out of her face!!!!!

I love this pic. Out of all the toys we have she loves playing with bowls. Isn't that how it always goes? I thought is was cute how I said "smile" and she actually did it!

Flower power!

Look at these pics. What else can I say. At least for now she LOVES getting her pictures taken. We took these at one of our church members houses. Aren't their flowers beautiful! We have been waiting for them to bloom out good so we could go over there. That gummy smile gets me everytime!

Family Day!

Here is our family day at Harding. Our friends, Scott & Courtney and their twins came up and we had a great day taking pics at Harding. Emery loved those boys (who were 4 months old). She kept trying to touch their face and hold their hands! Too cute!

Emery's 1st Date!

6 Months Old!

This is the outfit that we had her 6 months pics taken in. She is such a ham!

Here she is just thinking about crawling. She will scoot about six inches...kind of the army crawl, but it isn't going to take her long to find out how to get that booty up in the air and crawl!

Here is the toy that Emery Kate got for her 6 month birthday! Yes, she got presents and a card. And for all of you that know me well she got her very first baby basketball. Gotta start her early...Tennessee is going to need her in about 18 years!!!!!

I can't believe that my precious baby is 6 months old...half a year! Where has the time gone. I can tell you that motherhood has far exceeded my expectations and waking up to this angel every morning is all that I can ever ask for!

Big Girl!

These 2 pictures were actually taken a week ago and I just hadn't gotten around to posting them. This little table and chairs was mine as a child...my mom basically kept everything (but this is good because now we don't have to go buy new things)! We just thought this was adorable. My mom is standing just out of the pic just in case she started to lean, but for the most part she will just sit there and play. The funny thing is that the checkers that she is playing with are twicw as big as her hands and she just wanted to eat them!!!


My big girl! It doesn't seem like she should be big enough to sit here and play. Look how short her legs are, but isn't it so cute!!!
